Employment Process
Once the job opening date closes:
• Applications are reviewed and the best qualified people are selected for the interview process.
• Once all interviews have been conducted, selection is made.
• The selection is placed on the Board Agenda for Board Approval.
• Board approval is contingent upon favorable results from pre-employment physical, driving history, and all other pre-employment testing and paperwork required by applicable law and policy and procedure manuals/handbooks.
Police Employment Process
• Applications are processed.
• Applicants are scheduled for a physical test and a written test.
• If these tests are passed, applicants will be interviewed by a panel.
• The best candidates will be selected.
• Background checks will be completed
• Selection will be made and placed on the Board Agenda for Board Approval
